Ashley Wagner, LPC
Ashley Wagner is a licensed professional counselor (LPC) with a Master of Science in Education, specializing in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling, from Youngstown State University (YSU). She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from YSU. With a passion for helping individuals overcome life’s challenges, Ashley is dedicated to supporting her clients' mental health and overall well-being.
Ashley has experience working with young to older adults, specializing in PTSD, anxiety, depression, and anger management. She often focuses on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy, and person-centered approaches. She enjoys collaboration with nurse practitioners and case managers to ensure comprehensive care.
Prior to her counseling career, Ashley spent four years in a pharmacy setting, working with older adults to support medication compliance and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure access to necessary resources. This experience honed her skills in coordination and personalized care.
Ashley takes a holistic, client-centered approach, providing empathy, understanding, and evidence-based practices to promote lasting change. She enjoys watching clients develop coping skills and gain insight, empowering them to thrive both in therapy and in life.
Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her two cats, family, and friends. She’s also passionate about creativity, from furniture remodeling to outdoor activities like hiking, rock climbing, skiing, and swimming.
Ashley’s approach combines empathy, expertise, and a genuine desire to help clients achieve long-term growth and healing.
