David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Jewish Studies and has dedicated the past 25 years to case management. Throughout his extensive career, he has developed a deep commitment to supporting individuals, particularly those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and Schizophrenia. His passion lies in advocating for his clients, ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed. David finds immense fulfillment in witnessing their progress and achievements.
David Thomas is an award-winning advocate, journalist, and mental health professional with over 25 years of case management experience. Recognized as Advocate of the Year (2020) by the Stark County Mental Health & Addiction Recovery Board, David has dedicated his career to human rights, mental health awareness, and investigative journalism. His work has earned international recognition, including a Journalism Award (2021) from the London International Black Belt Hall of Fame, an International Autism Awareness Caribbean Global Award (2023), and an Honorary Doctorate in Environmental Arts and Peace Sciences (2021) from ICEA Cleveland.
David’s published works and documentaries address critical social issues, including war crimes, homelessness, and the psychological effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. His writing has been featured by the United Nations, National Association of Mental Illness (NAMI), Canton Repository, and NewsBreak, among others. Holding a bachelor’s degree in Jewish Studies and a certificate in Lay Counseling, David continues to advocate for marginalized communities while shedding light on pressing global challenges.
In his free time, David enjoys writing, reading, and working out, allowing him to maintain a balanced and fulfilling lifestyle outside of work. He looks forward to being a guiding presence in the lives of those he serves.
